500 delegates to attend the event

Rajahmundry: The fourth annual human resources summit -- Medha 2K ‘07 – is being held at Godavari Institute of Engineering Technology (GIET) on the outskirts of the city from Friday.

Representative from about 100 engineering colleges from all over the State are participating in the two-day conference and arrangements were made on the GIET campus under the supervision of GIET Chairman K.V.V. Satyanarayana Raju and MD Sasi Varma.

According to S.S.N. Murthy, summit coordinator and director of research, there will be paper presentation, poster presentation and exhibition of hardware, software and electrical, mechanical components from 40 colleges.

Students from different branches like computer science, IT and MCA as one group, mechanical engineering as second, electrical and electronics as third group, bio-medical engineering and bio-technology as fourth and electronics communication engineering as the last group will take part in the event.

The GIET received entries from Tirupati, Kadapa, Anantapur, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Nellore, Kurnool and all other places and participants will be around 500. Apart from essay-writing competitions, skits and cultural programmes will be organised during the conference period.
