Kerala Chief justice to take part in inaugural function
Arrangements are in full swing for the golden jubilee celebrations of Sri Venkateswara temple at Narayana Tirumala, PN Colony, Srikakulam, from May 13 and 17.
At a media conference here on Wednesday, the chairman of State Administrative Tribunal and trustee of the temple G. Yatirajulu said several judges, including Kerala High Court Chief Justice Jasti Chalameswar, and several AP High Court judges would participate in the inaugural function.
Several programmes, including kalyanotsavam, offering of vajra kavacham, poorna pushaparchana, tiruveedhi utsavam, avadrutha stanam, purnotsavam and pushpa yagam will also be performed as part of the celebrations.
Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao will offer Swarna Kavacham to Lord Venkateswara on May 15.
Chief priest of the temple Garugubilli Srinivasulu requested devotees to visit the temple during these days to make the golden jubilee celebrations a grand success.
