NALGONDA: The Education Department has embarked on an exercise to dispatch the hall-tickets to the candidates of the ensuing District Selection Committee (DSC) teachers recruitment test slated for May 29 and 31.
Education Department has started sending the hall-tickets to the candidates by post on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the officials concerned have made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the DSC. A total of 175 examination centres have been set up all over the district for the test.
About 1,500 staff will be deployed for the examination duty. It has been decided to appoint the district level officers from the departments other than the education department as the chief superintendents of the examination centres.
The APSRTC has been asked to operate additional bus services and municipalities and the health department have been instructed to make arrangements for provision of drinking water and first-aid at the examination centres. The police department also made adequate security arrangements. When contacted, the District Education Officer Sunder Rao told The Hindu that 80 percent of the hall-tickets have already been dispatched by post on Saturday and Sunday.
The remaining hall-tickets will be posted on Monday, he said. Those who do not receive hall-tickets can download the hall-tickets from the website www.aponline.gov.in.
