ONGOLE: All arrangements have been made to conduct District Selection Committee (DSC) examination at 70 centres in the district on May 29 and 31 to fill 2,143 teacher posts. Speaking to newspersons here on Wednesday, Joint Collector Dinakar Babu said that 28,333 candidates would be taking the examination in the district. Selections would be made to fill 1,089 secondary grade teacher posts, 484 school assistant posts, 93 physical education teacher posts and 477 language pandit posts.

He asked the candidates to appear half an hour before the scheduled time. They would not be allowed to enter the hall when once the examination begins. Examination would be held at 52 centres from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 29 for secondary grade teacher posts in Telugu and Urdu media. Examination would be held for Telugu and Hindi medium teacher posts from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 18 centres.

For school assistant posts in all subjects, except English, the examination would be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 31 at 48 centres and for English teacher posts from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at three centres.

ELURU: Collector G. Jayalakshmi said all arrangements were in place in West Godavari. She said 5,324 candidates would take the examination at 121 centres.
