Hectic schedule for Kiran
Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh will participate in flagging off the first flight from Visakhapatnam to Dubai (via Hyderabad) along with Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy at the airport here on Sunday.
Mr. Ajit Singh has confirmed his participation, according to a communiqué received from Rajya Sabha Member T. Subbarami Reddy's office on Thursday.
He will participate in the convention on ‘International connectivity and tourism' being organised at Four Points by Sheraton hotel at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
He would attend the carnival to be held at RK Beach later in the afternoon. He would proceed to the airport from there and participate in a programme on planting 5,000 saplings around the airport.
He would later flag off the Dubai flight and proceed to Hyderabad by the same flight.
Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy will arrive here on Sunday and a hectic schedule awaits him.
The Chief Minister will arrive at 12.45 p.m. and launch the plantation programme at the airport.
He will attend a convention on ‘International connectivity and tourism' to be organised by Air Travellers' Association.
Mr. Reddy will inaugurate the two-lane carriage way underpass (subway) at Asilmetta at 4.10 p.m. and the beautification programme at Siripuram at 4.30 p.m. He will also witness the carnival and participate in a public meeting at RK Beach at 4.50 p.m.
From there he will reach the airport to flag off the Dubai flight. He will leave for Hyderabad at 7.35 p.m.
