Senior Congress leader Naini Rajender Reddy has come forward to help thousands of students and their parents arriving in city on April 7 for the AIEEE examination.
Last year, the students had difficulty in finding accommodation as all the hotels and guest houses were booked and many faced hardship.
Mr. Rajender Reddy, who floated a foundation on his name, has decided to set up number of help desks all over Warangal, Kazipet and Hanamkonda towns.
Free accommodation would be provided separately to girls and boys. For girls, arrangements were being made for their stay at District Central Library besides Public Gardens, Hanamkonda (phone numbers: 78932-12030 and 99495-95180) and for boys, accommodation would be provided at Tara and Mayuri Gardens besides NIT (phone numbers: 98490-36369; 98662-11134; 85220-18030).
The Naini Rajender Foundation is also holding discussions with the auto rickshaw drivers who would take the students from bus and railway stations to the respective examination centres in tri-cities.
“We are also contemplating to provide breakfast to the students and parents coming from far off places to the town,” he told The Hindu .
