Joint Action Committee of advocates in Srikakulam decided to continue their stir till January 23 opposing the division of the State. Over 1,000 advocates have been participating in the agitation for the last five months.

Srikakulam Bar Association president Ponnada Venkateswara Rao and senior advocate Jallu Tirupati Rao told The Hindu that the State JAC leaders decided to continue the agitation till the completion of the discussion on the draft of the AP State Reorganisation Bill in the Assembly.
