Advocates’ bodies of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari formed a joint action committee to launch a struggle for Samaikya Andhra Pradesh.
Member of Bar Council of AP S. Krishna Mohan would head the JAC.
The meeting decided to continue boycott of court work till August 8 and to meet again on that day to chalk out an action plan.
The meeting was attended by members of Bar Council Ch. Madhavi Latha and B.V.R. Murthy from Visakhapatnam, Mr. Tamanna Setty from Vizianagaram and Mr Muppala Subba Rao from East Godavari. Programmes in support of Samaikhya Andhra Pradesh would be conducted according to the directions given by the JAC.
The meeting was attended by president of Visakhapatnam Bar Association Karri Adibabu, senior advocates NV Badarinath, Kodi Srinivas, Kuppili Muralidhar, Ch. Amarnath, P. Narasinga Rao and large number of lawyers. Advocates from other parts of the district also participated.
