The JAC of Teachers Unions has demanded action against District Educational Officer of Kurnool M. Ramalingam alleging that he has resorted to corruption and illegal practices.
In a statement issued here on Thursday APTF (1938) president K. Subba Reddy, APTF (257) president K. Venugopal and DTF president K. Narayana Reddy stated that the inquiry into corruption charges was completed about two months back but the government is yet to take action against him..
They submitted a memorandum to Minister for Education Parthasarathi and Chief Secretary S.V. Prasad seeking action against the DEO.
The JAC of Teachers Unions had been agitating against the DEO for the last six months, they stated.
