Students try to resist policemen by forming human chain

NIZAMABAD: A host of students in an attempt to resist the arrest and shifting of the chairman of Kakatiya Educational Institutions Ch. Rajinikanth and Kakatiya High School principal Fareed to police station surrounded the police jeep and held it back for several minutes, here on Friday.

Foils human chain

The incident happened when the police foiled the human chain formed by the students and staff of the educational institutions in support of the demand for Telangana State at Phulong Chowrasta.

The students dispersed from the spot, as the police meticulously shifted Rajinikanth and Fareed.

Meanwhile, the pro-Telangana activists continued their agitation on the second day as well.

Unique protest

In an innovative protest members of the Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (SBVP) wore sarees and acted like eunuchs indicating that the Central Government was ineffective in creating a separate State.
