It was a special day for singer and actor Sreeram Chandra who celebrated his birthday in the city here on Saturday along with his crew. With the debutant director Subbu and lady lead as Barbie Handa, Sreeram is now trying his luck in Tollywood.

His debut movie ‘Prema Gima Janta Nai’ (PGJN) will be screened under the banner of Subham Creations. With the perfect backdrop of seashore and the pristine charm of the city, the crew has begun the shoot here on Friday. After cutting the birthday cake on the Andhra University campus, Sreeram Chandra said: “I feel happy to celebrate my birthday in the city as I was born here. I feel fresh all over again. We used to stay in Sriharipuram and Gajuwaka then and I have a special attachment to the city.”

Speaking about his debut movie, he said that the movie caters to all types of audiences. “The story is interesting and charms all the ages. I hope people will accept me as an actor as much as they have accepted me as a singer,” he said.

With Mani Sharma as the music director, Dhadi Bala Bhaskar as one of the producers, A.N. Murthy as writer and Gurendra Reddy as cameraman, the movie is expected to hit the theatre by April end this year.

Visakhapatnam West MLA Malla Vijay Prasad, crew of PGJN, Sun Media team and Swamy Ganta of Vay Foundation also participated.
