Sixteen bulk milk chilling centres to enhance production

KADAPA: Sixteen bulk milk chilling centres were set up in Kadapa district in order to enhance the milk production from 70,000 litres to two lakh litres, DRDA Project Director K. Ashok Reddy said on Monday.

Cooperatives lauded

The World Bank team was all praise for the dairy cooperatives, he said. Each family should strive to earn at least Rs. 3,000 per month by increasing milk production.

Increase in quality of milk production would fetch a good price, Mr. Ashok Reddy said. He wanted proper plans chalked out for achieving target for milk production and quality.
