Beneficiaries urged to improve their financial status
WARANGAL: As many as 63 women who underwent training in tailoring at the district police unit tailoring centres were given sewing machines here on Wednesday.
As part of the police welfare measures, the police department has been running tailoring training centres for the families of policemen.
All those who completed the training were given the sewing machines for free by Superintendent of Police Soumya Mishra.
Addressing the beneficiaries, Ms. Mishra urged them to make use of the craft and improve their financial status. Additional Superintendent of Police S.D. Gautam, Reserve Inspector Burhan Ali, Town DSP Md Liaquath Ali Khan, Subedari CI Venkateswar Rao, Police Officers Association president P. Shyam Sunder and others were present.
