HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Police Commissioner A.K. Mohanty on Thursday suspended four Sub-Inspectors of Special Branch who were on duty at the immigration counter in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here.
The suspended SIs -- Mohd. Ismail, G. Krishna, D. Ramulu and B. Chandrashekhara Reddy -- were accused of allowing 10 women passengers possessing forged travel documents to board Kuwait-bound flight in the first week of this January. The women passengers were caught at the Mumbai airport by the immigration officials there.
