For the first time, 3D films would be screened at the 18{+t}{+h}International Children’s Film Festival of India scheduled to be held here on November 14, in the presence of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari.

At a briefing, Minister for Information and Public Relations D.K. Aruna said the State would facilitate production of quality children’s films and help producers and directors in the endeavour.

Meanwhile, at a press conference, Additional Director-General, Press Information Bureau, M.V.V.S. Murthy said entries from 74 nations will be showcased at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI 2013), to be held in Goa from November 20 to 30.

Each district in the State would be represented by five children at the event, beginning tomorrow
