NIZAMABAD: The Telangana Kula Praja Sanghala Joint Action Committee comprising 37 caste and professional organisations has resolved to intensify its struggle for Telangana State. The committee general body which met here on yesterday ratified its decision.

Talking to reporters on Thursday, the committee convenor Baisa Ramadoss, demanded that the Bill pertaining to the formation of Telangana be introduced in the Parliament immediately and all elected representatives from the region resign to bring pressure on the Centre for the purpose.

Disclosing the resolutions passed by the committee, he praised Y. Lakshminarayana (BJP) and E. Ravinder Reddy (TRS) who sacrificed their legislature memberships. The other resolutions included planting one crore saplings in memory of the Telangana martyrs, non-cooperation by refusing to pay taxes to the government, sending post cards to Prime Minister, hoisting Telangana flags at all junctions.

He said though they had high respect for Justice Srikrishna Committee they were sceptical of the report that would be submitted by the panel. However, he said any individual and organisation could submit memorandums.
