The district police took into custody three Maoist party sympathisers during the vehicle checking operations in agency Eturunagaram mandal headquarters here on Thursday.
According to Eturunagaram Circle Inspector Madhusudan, they were conducting vehicle checks as part of their regular law and order exercises when they spotted three persons entering the agency areas under suspicious circumstances. When the police checked their belongings, they found some revolutionary literature. When the suspects trembled to answer police queries, they were taken into custody. During the interrogation, they revealed their identities and confessed to be sympathising with the Maoists.
The arrested include one surrendered extremist Budiha Anuradha (23) of Loyapalli of Ranga Reddy district who surrendered to police at Karimnagar in 2006 and one Bade Sulochana (39) and Bade Vikas (20) of Pambapur of Tadvai mandal of Warangal district.
