The Commissioner’s Task Force (North) on Wednesday rescued a female sex worker, and arrested two organisers, after raiding a brothel being operated at Marredpally.
Syed Imran (30) from Karnataka and Vara Venkateswaramma (58) of Vijayawada had allegedly been bringing women from Kolkata to carry out the activity. The woman was sent to a rescue home.
The West Zone team, meanwhile, arrested two persons for preparing fake documents.
Police said Jamandlamudi Ramesh (27), a businessman from Yousufuguda, and Naveed Saigal (35) of Prosper Overseas Consultancy at Ameerpet, had provided fake bank statements, property valuation papers and charted accountant reports to students planning to go abroad on study visas.
The police seized 361 fake documents, 10 rubber stamps, two laptops, a printer and two cell phones from them.
The duo was handed over to S.R. Nagar police.
