All arrangements were in place for over 10,000 students to take the EAMCET 2011 at 12 centres in the city on May 22, according to Regional Coordinator and Principal of GPR College B. Srinivasa Reddy.

Twelve centres were set up for engineering stream at GPR College, St. Joseph, Vasavi Mahila College, Coles Junior College, JVR Degree College, Sister Stanislas Memorial English School, Sri Sankara's Degree College, St. Joseph's Junior College, Osmania College, Silver Jubilee College, St. Joseph's English School and Montessori High School, A. Camp.

Also, the centres for medical stream were set up at GPR Engineering College and St. Joseph's Degree College.

According to the regional coordinator, hall tickets were dispatched to all applicants and those who did not receive them could either download or secure from the Chef Superintendent of the centre before May 21. Engineering applicants will be allowed into the examination centre between 9.15 a.m. and 10 a.m. only. The medical stream applicants could get into the hall between 1.45 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. Those who are late by a minute would not be allowed into the exam hall.

No electronic gadgets like mobile phones or Bluetooth aids would be allowed. Electronic jammers were being installed at problematic centres along with security personnel. The students need to handover the Datacard and OMR Sheet while they can retain the question paper.
