The IT Industries Association of Israel and the State Government will sign an MoU here in the first week of June to develop tier II cities in Andhra Pradesh such as Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Warangal and Kakinada as minor and medium information technology hubs.

As a prelude to this, a conference on information technology and communications is being organised at Tel Aviv in Israel from May 29 to June 3, jointly by the IT & C Department of the State Government and the association. Information Technology & Communications Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah will deliver the key-note address.

Speaking to reporters here on Saturday shortly before leaving for Tel Aviv, Mr Lakshamiah said the MoU would deal with several aspects of IT development, including business identification, planning and research and development.
