On Saturday that saw Common Admission Test (CAT) centres in Hyderabad experiencing minor disruptions related to power cuts and glitches in computer systems, B-school aspirants in Bangalore had a relatively smooth testing experience.

In all, 9,324 candidates across the country took the test on day two. The tests were conducted successfully over two sessions in 61 venues. The CAT on Thursday, which was the first day, had low attendance of 4,429 across the country.

A press release from Prometric sought to assure those who may have heard of the glitches in Hyderabad. “Resolving any operational and technical issues that come up during testing is part of Prometric’s standard operating procedure. We have a robust infrastructure in place to identify and resolve issues as they surface,” said Prometric India managing director Soumitra Roy.

“We assure all registered candidates that they will get to test within this testing window,” he added.
