She is just six-year-old, studying in class II in a private school in Karimnaga, yet she has made an attempt to enter the Guinness record book by singing national anthems of 15 countries across the globe.

Sounds impracticable! But it is indeed a fact. In this busy and mechanical lifestyle, while many of us have forgotten to sing our country’s anthem without mistakes, this child prodigy has been singing national anthems of 15 countries in 20 different languages.

In order to enter Guinness Book of Records, tiny tot M.S.Y.K.G. Franzonia had made an attempt by singing all the 15 countries national anthems without any mistakes amid huge gathering and other dignitaries in Karimnagar town on Sunday. The local Arora degree college management had organized the event to help the girl enter the record books and bring reputation to the district.

In the presence of huge gathering, Franzonia flanked by her parents M. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao and M. Shivanandini on the dais, rend the national anthems in a cheerful manner amid applause from the audience. As it was singing of national anthems, all the visitors at the event were standing throughout the programme to respect the countries and their national anthems.

Franzonia started singing the national anthems with Pakistan’s national anthem followed by Portugal, Canada, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Germany, Malayasia, Croatia, Ukraine, China, Japan, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and India. The languages in which the girl sang the national anthems include Portuguese, Nepali, Simhala, Thai, Xhosa, Zulu, Sesotho, Africa, English, Croatian, German, Chinese, Ukraine, Japanese, Arabic, Urdu, Malaysian, Sanskrit, Bengali and French.

Her father Vijaybhaskar Rao, who teaches calligraphy, said that he got the idea of learning the national anthems of other countries while watching India versus South Africa cricket match. He first learned the song of South Africa and later helped her daughter learn the song. When Franzonia learned the song with ease, he decided to teach her some more national anthems and accordingly taught her 15 anthems.

The bubbly girl says that her favourite place is school and plans to learn the national songs of all the foreign countries. She was thrilled to see all the visitors greeting her for her record performance.
