The Scottish Development International (SDI), the international economic development wing of the Scottish government, is keen on facilitating bilateral trade. Currently, Indian investments in Scotland are an estimated 700 million, while exports to India went up by 11 per cent in the year 2011. After throwing open the SDI’s office here on Friday, its 3{+r}{+d}in India, Anne MacColl, CEO, SDI said their focus was on deepening Indo-Scot collaboration in the life sciences, information & communications technology, energy and education sectors.
