Work to be completed before November 10

A meeting convened by Devaswom Minister V.S. Sivakumar has decided to complete heavy maintenance of the roads leading to Sabarimala Ayyappa temple by November 10 at an estimated outlay of Rs.67 crore.

The meeting convened to review the preparations for the pilgrimage season decided to install international quality crash bars at accident-prone areas and scan all vehicles reaching Chalakkayam. The services of ex-servicemen would be utilised for traffic control and small vehicles of the Fire and Rescue Services Department would be deployed wherever necessary.
