Rentachintala, a small town in Guntur district known for searing heat during summer, recorded the State's lowest night temperature on Wednesday night at 7 degrees Celsius.
The lowest night temperature during the season so far have been accounted only by Adilabad, Nizamabad and Medak.
Adilabad, Warangal, Medak, Karimnagar, Anantapur and Kadapa districts are still reeling under cold wave conditions while dry weather prevailed all over the State. Minimum temperatures were above normal at one or two places in Coastal Andhra and Telangana and they changed little in Rayalaseema.
India Meteorological Department warned that cold wave conditions would continue over the six districts on Friday and Saturday too.
