NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Monday rejected a demand for a post mortem on the body of Bahujan Samaj Party leader Kanshi Ram and a judicial inquiry into his death.

His siblings Harbans Singh and Swarna Kaur had sought the direction from the court.

They mentioned the matter before a Division Bench comprising Justice Vijender Jain and Justice Kailash Gambhir. The Bench transferred it to Justice S.N. Aggarwal.

Mr. Justice Aggarwal dismissed the plea saying it was known that Kanshi Ram had been ailing and his demise was not an unnatural death.
