The President, Pranab Mukherjee, will deliver the convocation address at the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidhyalaya in Haridwar on December 9.

Disclosing this on Wednesday, Pro Vice-Chancellor Chinmay Pandya said that degrees would be awarded to 1370 students. The President would honour 32 students with gold medals and confer doctorates on 77 researchers. Amongst those present on the occasion would be Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi and Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna.

The university was established in 2002 with an objective of imparting progressive education with a special thrust on moral and cultural values enshrined in the Vedas.
