The Delhi Police Special Cell has recently filed an additional charge sheet in the February 2012 Israeli Embassy car blast case, which comprises a list of questions answered by the wife of the then Israel defence attaché who was injured in the explosion.
In their first charge sheet, the Delhi Police Special Cell had named four Iranian nationals, Houshang Afshar Irani, Masoud Sedaghatzadeh, Syed Ali Mahdiansadr and Mohammed Reza Abolghasemi, as accused besides senior journalist Sayed Mohammad Ahmad Kazmi.
The police had earlier sent a questionnaire to Tal Yehoshua Koren, also a former Israeli Embassy official in the Capital. They had also sent to her a photograph of Houshang, who according to the Special Cell had planted the bomb in her car from outside, for identification. Ms. Koren denied that she had seen him either before or after the incident. The person who is suspected to have planted the bomb was wearing a helmet.
