The Telugu Desam Party-Telangana Forum will meet the party president N. Chandrababu Naidu after Ugadi festival to discuss about their proposed bus yatra in Telangana region.

Convenor of the TDP Telangana Forum, Nagam Janardhan Reddy, told mediapersons here on Saturday that they had planned bus yatra some time ago but could not take it up as yet due to various reasons.

They would chalk out an action plan for the yatra after discussing the issue with Mr. Naidu.

‘To expose parties'

Apart from creating awareness among people on the injustice being heaped on them, they would seek to expose the parties such as Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) on how they had been deceiving people, Mr. Reddy stated. Asked about criticism of his attitude by his own party MLAs, Mr. Reddy said they were not serious enough to be given a thought.

On the Centre giving another important assignment to Justice B.N. Srikrishna as the head of Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission (FSLRC), Mr. Reddy said the forum's allegations that he had given a report on Telangana as directed by the Centre stood vindicated.

Hits out at Kiran

He found fault with Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy's reported observations on Friday that his home district, Chittoor, was backward compared to some Telangana districts such as Karimnagar. This statement was misleading and there were facts and figures to disprove his view, he said. If it was true, the Chief Minister should have allowed a debate on Telangana issue in the Assembly.
