: The disbursal of financial assistance under the Kerala Advocates’ Clerks Welfare Pension Scheme will begin on Monday. Minister for Finance K M. Mani will inaugurate the distribution of pension at a function here, said a press note. Minister for Home Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will chair the function. As per the scheme, advocates’ clerks who have completed 60 years of age and eight years as member in the scheme are eligible for the benefits. Members of advocates’ clerks associations recognised by the Advocates’ Clerks Welfare Pension Fund can apply. Nearly 4,000 people spread over 90 units have availed themselves of the facility. — Special Correspondent
