Students who were admitted in Intermediate course in 2006-07 or earlier and yet have failed to pass the exams can appear for the failed papers in the final exams to be held in March 2012 to clear the backlogs.

In a statement here, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) Controller of Examinations said that the decision to extend the facility for this year only was taken in view of representations from students and parents. As per the BIE rules students who fail to clear all their papers within five years of admission have to write all the papers again to get a pass certificate.

Candidates who could not pay their examination fee due to this condition can pay fee without fine up to December 8. “This is the last chance for such students,” the statement said.
