There is no evidence so far to suggest that the right-wing is involved in the murder of anti-superstition activist Narendra Dabholkar, the Pune Police Crime Branch told the Bombay High Court on Friday.

The court was responding to a petition demanding the handing over of the murder probe to the National Investigation Agency. Activist Ketan Tirodkar filed the etition two months ago. The murder in broad daylight caused tremendous outrage and concern in the civil society in Maharashtra. More than three months after the murder, no arrests have been made yet.
