Government Chief Whip Gandra Venkataramana Reddy has criticised TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu for not clarifying his party’s stand on bifurcation of the State at a time when the Congress leadership has hastened the process on separate Telangana.
He criticised the TDP president for claiming that the Congress leadership was dividing the State to serve its political interests. “The Congress leadership has consulted all political parties before taking a decision on bifurcation. Mr. Naidu’s claims expose his irresponsible behaviour as also his party’s bankruptcy,” he said. He advised Mr. Naidu to utilise the Group of Ministers as a platform to clear the air on his party’s stand once and for all. He said YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy who said he had no objection for bifurcation changed his stand subsequently in favour of united AP. The TDP president should emulate Mr. Jagan.
He criticised Mr. Naidu for calling upon his party cadre to disrupt Rachabanda, the mass contact programme.
