A delegation of prominent Muslims called on Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and submitted a memorandum condemning rocket/ grenade attacks in Syria and destruction of the shrines (tombs) of grand-daughter of Prophet Mohammed, Syed Hazrat Syeeda Zainab, and the shrine of Hazrat Khalid Bin Vali. The delegation urged Mr. Reddy to take up repairs of mosques and hold an international health convention to celebrate 125 years of the Arabic institution, Darat-ul-Marif. The Chief Minister told them that he had released Rs.2.5 crore to take up repairs of mosques and promised to appoint suitable officers for Minorities finance Corporation soon.
