Maharashtra gears up for Nashik Kumbh Mela

Aiming to keep a robust security apparatus in place before the onset of the 2015 Kumbh Mela in Nashik, the Maharashtra government on Thursday said that Closed Circuit Television cameras would be functional in anticipation of the event. Speaking in the Legislative Council during the monsoon session of the State Legislature, Home Minister R. R. Patil assured members that all precautionary measures would be in place before the event.- Staff Reporter
