Don Bosco Park Circus, Kolkata made its way to Bangalore in The Hindu Young World Quiz competition held here on Wednesday.

Kolkata, the city know for its extra curricular activities in all fields, witnessed great enthusiasm among the students, teachers and parents in the zonal round of the 14{+t}{+h}edition of The Hindu Young World quiz competition.

At the Vidya Mandir auditorium nearly 200 teams from 52 schools participated for the top spot in the Zonal Round. Besides the prominent city schools, teams from Assam, Bihar, and district towns of West Bengal participated.

Out of the 200 teams, six — Don Bosco Park Circus, M.P. Birla Higher Secondary School, Future Foundation I & II, Sri Aurobindo and La Martiniere for Boys made their way to the final round.

Master Srijit Basu and Kishalay Chakraborty of Don Bosco Park Circus got the zonal crown while Master Arnab Mondal and Satwata Hans of MP Birla Higher Secondary school were declared runner-up. Don Bosco Park Circus would be taking part at the all-India grand finale in Bangalore on December 5.
