K. Chandrasekhar Rao
Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided not to celebrate his birthday falling on February 17 in the wake of the continuing suicides of youth and students for the cause of Telangana.
Party leaders said Mr. Rao was pained by the unabated suicides in spite of appeals being made by several people. He told the party activists and leaders not to take up any kind of celebration on his birthday.
Mr. Rao is likely to keep away from all public functions to avoid even accepting greetings and bouquets on that day.
