Six Additional Sessions Judges on Friday took charge as judges of the six fast-track courts set up in Delhi to exclusively try cases of sexual offences including the gang rape-cum-murder case of the 23-year-old physiotherapist. A Delhi High Court notification of January 2 said Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Yogesh Khanna will preside over the fast-track court at Saket court complex to try cases from South and South-East Delhi districts.

ASJ T. R. Naval will preside over the fast-track court at Karkardooma Court complex for East and North-East districts. ASJ Mahesh Chand Gupta is in charge of cases from North West and Outer Delhi districts based at the Rohini Court complexes.

Cases from Central and North Delhi will be tried by ASJ Kaveri Baweja and from West Delhi by ASJ Nivedita Anil Sharma – with both courts functioning out of Tis Hazari. ASJ Virender Bhat will preside over the court at Dwarka court complex for South West Delhi district.
