JNU entrance exams from May 18

The admit cards for the JNU entrance examination and the combined entrance examination for Biotechnology has been uploaded in the university Candidates who have applied for these would have to download their admit cards as they will not be sent by post. However, the admit cards will be sent by email.

The exams are scheduled to be held from May 18 to May 21 all over India and even in Kathmandu, Nepal.

TERI University has announced admissions to its PhD courses in Natural Resources, Human-Natural Systems, Policy & Governance, Sustainability Management, Plant Biotechnology and Renewable Energy. The tuition fee is Rs. 12,000 per semester and a Master’s degree in the relevant field or a BE/B.Tech degree is needed to apply. The selection process is through a written test and a personal interview. Applications can be downloaded from the website and are also available on campus. The last date for applying is May 31.

Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication has invited applications for its post-graduate diploma programmes for which it is also offering scholarships. The programmes on offer are Advertising and Marketing Communication, Corporate Communication / PR and Event Management, TV and Radio Production and Social Media and Web Journalism. The courses are for one year and graduates from any discipline can apply. The prospectus and application forms are available online and in the Institute for Rs. 800. The Institute has said that students opting for these diplomas have the option of seeking a lateral entry into the MA degree in Mass Communication at Apeejay Stya University.

FORE School of Management, New Delhi, has announced admissions to its three-year post-graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course for working executives. This specially-designed management course caters to the need of the working professionals who aim to develop managerial skills while continuing with their careers.

The admissions are done on the basis of academics records, experience, written tests and personal interview. Minimum two years’ work experience along with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognised institute is the eligibility criteria.

The prospectus and applications are available on the school website for an online payment of Rs. 1,650.00. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a written test and personal interview in the institute’s campus in the Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi.

Classes will begin in July and will be held every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
