The 300 km-long Jammu-Srinagar Highway, the only road link to Kashmir valley, was reopened for one-way traffic on Sunday, a day after it was closed due to snowfall near Jawahar Tunnel in Qazigund.

“The highway was reopened after clearing the snow at Jawahar Tunnel area. But the movement of the vehicles was slow as highway was slippery,” a Police Control Room (PCR) official told PTI.
