The Indian Institute of Management-Tiruchi, will commence the second batch of its three-year Post Graduate Programme in Business Management (PGPBM) at its Chennai centre from July 2013.
IIM-Tiruchi had launched its PGPBM for working executives at its Chennai Centre last August.
The curriculum is spread over three years and is completely aligned with the two-year full-time postgraduate programme offered at the Tiruchi campus. Classes are held in the evenings for four days a week, officials said at a press conference here on Friday.
The Chennai centre of IIM-T was inaugurated last August. Officials said the centre would be equipped with video conferencing facility and connected with its Tiruchi campus.
The institute would also soon install a lecture capture system, which would enable students to catch up and refresh their learning from classroom lecture sessions at their convenience.
The last date for receipt of applications has been extended to May 12.
Final selection would be made based on the basis of applicant’s curriculum vitae, performance in the written test, and personal interview. Applicants with a valid CAT or GMAT score are exempted from the written test.
Also, the faculty and current students of the institute would be available for an interactive session with prospective candidates at the Chennai centre on April 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Officials said IIM-T would shortly announce a range of short-term executive education programmes and customised management programmes for individual companies, at its Chennai centre.
