Philip Ikeazor, a member of the governing board of ICRISAT, on Monday retired from the board at the end of his final three-year term. He was on the board for six years, in all, having completed two terms.

Mr. Ikeazor is presently executive director of Union Bank of Nigeria which is a leading bank to support agriculture in that country. He is a professional banker and a chartered accountant, said an ICRISAT press release.

He will give up his governing body position to another Nigerian Oluwande Muoyo who is also a professional banker and a chartered accountant.
