The Department of Pre-University Education along with the Deputy Directors of Public Instruction (DDPIs) has begun preparing question papers for the first PU annual examination.
The department is framing question papers because the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system for I PUC was dropped as a result of which individual colleges no longer have the right to set their own question papers. A senior DPUE official said that the papers have been set in such a way that no two districts would get the same question paper. “We are also hoping to announce the results by March 30,” he said.
The I PU annual examination will be held between February 22 and March 5.
