Applications for the Young India Fellowship (YIF), a post-graduate management programme, have opened. The latest batch will begin the session in June next year. The programme is conducted in association with academic partners like Ivy League University of Pennsylvania and other international universities. The YIF offers a rolling admission process, split into two rounds. The last date for applying is February 28. The first round of admissions will close on December 15.
The fellowship has advised that it is prudent for an applicant to apply as early as possible in a rolling admission process as the number of seats available for later rounds keeps reducing as the admission process rolls on and fellows keep getting selected. The YIF offers partial scholarships to successful applicants in the form of full tuition and half tuition scholarships.
For the first time this year, an application fee of Rs.1,000 will be charged. The application fee waiver is offered to applicants whose parents’ combined annual income is Rs.2 lakh or less. Round one of the personal interview will be held in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Kolkata, while all personal interviews for second round applicants will be held in Delhi.
