“The national conference on Forensic Nursing is a milestone in the history of nursing in India as it is the first-ever conference in South India. This conference opens new vistas and opportunities for nursing practice and education,” said Roy K. George, Principal, Baby Memorial College of Nursing, Kozhikode, here on Monday. The conference was organised by the Manipal College of Nursing, here.
According to a release, Dr. Roy briefly highlighted the historical development of the speciality of Forensic Nursing in the U.S. and urged Indian nurses to commence short-term courses on Forensic Nursing as a move towards establishing a specialty.
