The status of 400 seats in five government medical colleges that fell short on infrastructure will be decided on Wednesday by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Speaking to presspersons on Tuesday, Minister of State for Medical Education Sharanaprakash R. Patil said the government had also requested the MCI to reverse its decision on stopping enrolment in the five medical colleges.
