All India Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tuticorin will conduct an exposition in the city on Saturday and Sunday promoting Tuticorin as the most favoured investment destination among tier-II cities.
Titled ‘Chennayil Thutookudi Thiruvizha’, the business-to-business meet will display at the venue some of its well known brand of products such as Sprinkle salt, VVD coconut oil, Agsar paint, herbal tea, Diamond sea foods and Ramesh Flower’s candles among others.
Briefing newsmen, AICCI president P.S.S.K. Raja Sankaralingam said they have roped in the officials of Coastal Energen Private Ltd, Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust and Sterlite Copper unit to explain about the advantages of investing in Tuticorin that has huge potential. The expo with 30 stalls will be inaugurated by the Tourism Minister S.P. Shunmuganathan in the morning and the conference by Shipping Minister G.K. Vasan in the evening.
“After the conclusion of this festival, we will hold similar road shows in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. We will also use this forum to showcase Manapad and Tiruchendur as tourism spots,” he said.
