DMK to stage demo against power cut

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M. Karunanidhi will lead a demonstration in Chennai on December 18 to condemn power cut in the State.

In a statement, the party said unprecedented power cut was destabilising agriculture, trade and industry across the State.

A decision to stage a demonstration to condemn the issue was taken at the party’s executive committee meeting chaired by Mr. Karunanidhi here on Thursday.
