Acting Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court Vikramajit Sen on Friday assured advocates that he will consider their suggestions to better the functioning of the courts and improve the infrastructure there. He gave the assurance to the members of the Bangalore Advocates' Association who brought to his notice some of the problems being faced by the lawyers and litigants.
Closure of entrance
Association president K.N. Subbra Reddy said that closure of main entrance of the High Court facing the Vidhana Soudha and prohibition of parking for advocates on the western side of the court after the blast near Delhi High Court, is causing inconvenience to advocates.
The association informed the acting Chief Justice that better seating arrangements be made for advocates and litigants in the court hall in the High Court.
They also underlined the need to install display boards so that the litigants and the lawyers can get an update on the hearing of the cases and such other information.
The association members suggested that the Family Court be shifted to the City Civil Court complex from Nyaya Degula premises on Siddaiah Road.
