Hoshiarpur: Criticising Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’a chief Raj Thackeray for his “anti-non-Maharashtrian people attitude” following which violent incidents had taken place in Mumbai and Bihar resulting in loss of public property worth crores of rupees, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Sunday asserted that from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, India is one and any person could settle down and flourish in every part of it.

“No one had right to force any person to leave a particular place,” he said.

Talking to media persons at the residence of Punjab’s Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mohinder Kaur Josh, Mr. Badal alleged that UPA Government led by the Congress had miserably failed on all fronts due to which price hike of essential commodities had broken all records and it had become difficult for a common man to pull on.

On account of alleged wrong and anti-people policies of the UPA, the country was facing financial crisis.

Law and order situation in the country was deteriorating and the activities of anti-social elements were on the increase and none was safe anywhere.

The prices of petrol and diesel had been declining in the international market, but the UPA Government was not decreasing their rates, he said, adding the government was only functioning to please some of the big families of the country.

Imposing of ban on some of the superior quality of paddy was only to provide gain to some of the big houses which had badly hit the marginal farmers, he said.
